 When the Left demands Freedom, they mean Personal Freedom.

When the Right demands Freedom, they mean Economic Freedom

This is a modified Nolan scale. The placement of the various labels are based on several factors.
   Personal Freedom includes level of censorship of speech, rights of assembly, rights granted to defendants of crime, restriction of movement within country, restriction of travel outside country, LGBT rights, religious tolerance and social safety nets available to the populace. It is basically the scale of compassion and trust in government.
   Economic Freedom includes the level of right of property ownership, amassing wealth, taxation, business ownership, financial investment, governmental regulation, tariffs and open free market(s). It is basically the scale of greed and distrust in government.
