Mitt Romney Has A Women Problem!

Mitt Romney has joined the Republican War on Women—an extreme effort to undermine women's health. Here's what you need to know:

• Romney threatens contraceptive coverage.
  Romney threatens access to contraceptives, opposing the requirement that employer-provided health insurance cover birth control.


• He opposes a woman's right to choose.
  He flip-flopped on reproductive freedom. Now he wants to overturn Roe v. Wade and take away a woman's right to choose.


• He would repeal health care reform's protections for women.
  Romney wants to repeal the Obama health care law, meaning women could again be denied coverage under the rationale that being a woman is a pre-existing condition. Repealing the law would also end the protection that says insurance companies can't charge more just because a patient is a woman.


• He refused to condemn Rush Limbaugh's sexist attack on a student.
  Romney refused to stand up to Rush Limbaugh when Limbaugh called law student Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "whore" for testifying before Congress about the affordability of contraceptives.


• He'd "get rid of" Planned Parenthood.
  Romney wants to end funding for Planned Parenthood. He said, "Planned Parenthood—"we're going to get rid of that!"
