Romney's true heart came out last night while giving a speech at a fund raiser after his booed speech to the NAACP. His remarks implies that the audience who booed him are the lazy blacks who want everything free and not work for it. The "Welfare Queen." What a racists remark. Read it below"
Romney: "When I mentioned I am going to get rid of Obamacare they weren’t happy… That’s ok, I want people to know what I stand for and if I don’t stand for what they want, go vote for someone else, that’s just fine. But I hope people understand this, your friends who like Obamacare, you remind them of this, if they want more free stuff from government tell them to go vote for the other. But don’t forget nothing is really free."
The other indicator here is that he either intentionally decided to not become familiar with terms and words that are offensive to the black community. They take the term, Obamacare, as an attack on our first black president. He should have used it's proper name or letters, ACA. And his statement that, "if you knew what was in my heart, you would vote for me," is taken the same way as, "some of my best friends are black." If he would have actually said what was in his heart, that might have shown he truly does care. But since he stayed with his stump speech, we had to wait until his fund raiser to find out what was truly in his heart, the same old tired racists stereotype comments the Republicans have been using for decades.
Normally the Republican presidential candidate ignores the NAACP invitation to speak. Mitt accepted, to their surprise. But also a surprise to them was the African-Americans he flew in to attend the convention, which BTW were not members of the NAACP. So the ones who cheered and the "Leaders he spoke with" were those he flew in, not the members of the NAACP. What a slimball. My question is how many of these fly ins were paid to perform and not actual supporters of Mitt?
Was this a calculated move to show his southern conservatives that he can stand up to the black community, knowing he will not get enough votes from the black constituency to make any difference? Is he that calculating and desperate to win that he would use such divisive tactics to win? The answer is simple, yes!
Or did he actually think he could win over some of their vote? If this was the case, he failed to do any research to modify his stump speech to reach the needs and desires of that constituency. What a bozo.
