Multi Political Parties

I think the time has come to return to the time when we had multiple political parties that better defined their ideology, Jeffersonian, Wigs, Nationalists, Hamiltonian, Democrat-Republican. Here are some I think would fit the different factions:

Social-Democrats
Progressive-Democrats
Conservative-Democrats
Christian-Democrats

Christian-Republicans
Conservative-Republicans
Progressive-Republicans
Social-Republicans

Just before President Lincoln, the Democrats and Republicans were one party, The Democrat-Republican. The Republican faction was in favor of social justice for the African-Americans, but the Democrats still supported slavery, so they split the party.

How that has flipped with the Republicans now against social justice and the Democrats in favor it it.

What's your thoughts?

  1. I agree on the need for a multiple party show on the political scene. However it should be forbidden to have the name of any religion conected to a parties name e.g.: NO Christian Democratic Party, NO, Islamic Republican Party, NO Confucian Liberal Party, NO Catholic Concerned Party, No Hindi Moneymaker Party e.g
Parties should make their political statement and form their political actions based on a basic philosophical view on how they would work to improve mankinds conditions on/in: their region, state, country, hemispere, this one and only earth.

The overall philosophy should be the text in the UN declaration on mankind with the following succes criteria:
80% of all mankind has equal access to health, wealth and welfare, each generation of political decision makers shall transfer the state of the earth and the people living on it at least as at the same level as when they took over the political decision making process.

Now this is just something to start with.

  2. You make a very good point. I would like to see the US Constitution to include the UN declaration on mankind, but modified to say all mankind has equal access to health, wealth and welfare.

    Thanks for the comment.
