Zach Wahls Speaks About Family

Why are so many people afraid of the truth. Zach, as well as countless others including my great-niece Lindsey, can affirm what he said, the bonds of a family is love, not the orientation of the parents.

What is the most frightening is the lack of respect for the principals of our Constitution and the endeavor over the past 230 years to enshrine that all people are equal under the law. To be so willing to pass constitutional amendments and other laws to restrict or prohibit a minority of citizens the freedom and guarantees of equal treatment under the law, just because clergy tells you they are sinners based on theology, we have lost the very core meaning of freedom and equality.

Who or what group will be next to be discriminated against? Obviously Latinos are now a target, also Muslims and Atheists are targeted as second class citizens, if recognized as citizens at all. But even they are not the subject of "Constitutional Amendments" to codify their lack of equality by the treatment they receive from the majority in society.  Why is it that who a person loves is so fearful to those who wish to codify their hatred?

Iowa, who is currently considering an amendment, and all the other states, like Utah, who have passed amendments, what has happened to the ideal of freedom, liberty, equality and fairness? Why are you so afraid?

I know, all you can do is visualize two guys giving head to each other and taking it up the butt or two women with their faces planted in the crotch of each other, right? You can't see the love and commitment that two people have for each other, like you have or should have, with your love one. When you look at a heterosexual couple, do you visualize her on all fours and he banging away from behind? Well maybe you visualize yourself banging away at her or getting a blow job from her, if is she is attractive to you. LOL  Careful, that's covet you know.
